Tendi and Pa Dawa Sherpa to Summit Everest
Himali Co-Founder Tendi Sherpa and Himali athlete Pa Dawa Sherpa are gearing up to summit Mount Everest once again, continuing their remarkable journeys as world-class mountaineers.

Pa Dawa Sherpa, also known as Pasang Dawa Sherpa, is set to make history with his 28th ascent of Everest. Born in Pangboche, a village near Everest base camp, Pa Dawa is already one of the most successful Everest climbers, having summited the world’s highest peak 27 times as of 2023.
He first reached the summit in 1998 at the age of 21 and has since climbed Everest almost every year, including multiple double ascents in several years. His favorite mountain, Ama Dablam, holds a special place in his heart, with over 70 successful climbs to his name.

Meanwhile, Tendi Sherpa, co-founder of the Himali brand, is preparing for his 19th Everest summit. He began his mountaineering career early, climbing Mera Peak with his father at just 14 and reaching Everest for the first time in 2004 via the North Ridge.
Both Pa Dawa and Tendi have summited Everest exclusively while guiding clients, showcasing their expertise and commitment to their guiding careers.
Himali, in a recent Instagram post, praised the duo, stating, “Having this type of experience is something that cannot be faked.”
The company celebrates their dedication and remarkable achievements, solidifying their status as some of the most experienced Everest climbers in history.
